IM SORRY .CAN YOU FORGIVE ME FOR WHAT I HAVE DONE

What does it really mean to you (SORRY ). How long do you make someone pay for pass mistakes . I have learned that the people closest to you will make some mistakes . How strong are you to just let go pass pains in your life . Holding things in so long can cause to much disruption in your own life , you can pass down your past hurts to your childs & he or she wont even know why they are thinking or feeling the way that they do. All that I ask is that you be sincere when you are forgiving someone who has wronged you .

Equality and Sacrifice - SOUL Reflections

Tonight I learnt a very important lesson and that is equality is the application of sacrifice. I really had never heard about the expression until now and it made me stop and really think about the things that comes to us as we face life's journey and how we look at them.

To quote what was told to me - "Lets say by the GRACE OF GOD I inherit a million dollars, do you really think God would give me that and not have a job for me to do with it?" This made me reflect on how people will look at this and each comes up with a different explanation as to why they come in for the money and what they would do with it.

How does this relates to equality and sacrifice you ask. It relates in that, as much as we may have all this money and resources to do as we please, it can also be beneficial if used for the well being and welfare of others; thus making us sacrifice something we would otherwise wished to have utilized a portion of it for. In this way we not only give our self a emotional lift, a do good feeling; but also we lift others up with us as well as we show them how they too can reach the heights we have attained or the level of success we are striving for by our sacrifice.

I must add that it is not often in this life you find someone who share the same beliefs and thought process as yourself; much less someone who is taking the same journey as you are and whose only wish - like yours - is to be in a stable environment and to remain humble, no matter what level of success you both achieve in this life.

HIP HOP SOUL

Do you remember when Rakim told us he had soul? When LL rocked the bells and Public Enemy said fight the power? Do you remember when Queen Latifah gave women of all races pride and strength to all women? I do!

I remember the days when Grandma and Grandpa could listen to the same hip hop music as their grand children. I remember sitting on the stoop listening to Grand Master Flash & The Furious Five, Kool Moe Dee, Dougie Fresh and all of my child hood friends & I would sing line for line the words of their song. We couldn't wait until Dougie Fresh came on the radio.

I remember when the movie KRUSH GROOVE came out there so much love & honor amoung hip hop artist there were no killings or gang violence in the rap game. Not to say that artist didnt have beef's but it ended with 1 or 2 artist getting arrested.

What happen? CORPORATE GREED is what happened. The powers that be saw the full potential of urban music and no longer could young ghetto children be silenced. I blame the media and even some of todays so called rappers for the decline of good music. Rakim never called our women hoes, bitches. Todays rappers seem to sell more records depicting our women as un-intelligent beings.

I remember the first time I heard the message and melly mels verse said it all:

(A child is born with no state of mind
Blind to the ways of mankind
God is smilin' on you
but he's frownin' too
Because only God knows what you'll go through
You'll grow in the ghetto livin' second-rate
And your eyes will sing a song called deep hate
The places you play and where you stay
Looks like one great big alleyway
You'll admire all the number-book takers
Thugs, pimps and pushers and the big money-makers
Drivin' big cars, spendin' twenties and tens
And you'll wanna grow up to be just like them, huh
Smugglers, scramblers, burglars, gamblers
Pickpocket peddlers, even panhandlers
You say I'm cool, huh, I'm no fool
But then you wind up droppin' outta high school
Now you're unemployed, all non-void
Walkin' round like you're Pretty Boy Floyd
Turned stick-up kid, but look what you done did
Got sent up for a eight-year bid
Now your manhood is took and you're a Maytag
Spend the next two years as a undercover fag
Bein' used and abused to serve like hell
'til one day, you was found hung dead in the cell
It was plain to see that your life was lost
You was cold and your body swung back and forth
But now your eyes sing the sad, sad song

Of how you lived so fast and died so young so)

Even though our generation is in a much better financial situation Hip Hop has lost its soul. I'm not one to talk another mans hustle but he has to be held acountable for what he says .

Thats the soul Im talking about thats the love Im talking about .

Stepping out on faith part 2 (my inner hustle my inner strength)

Another day , another boring meeting of pure nothingness for a whole hour I thought nothing but my own success I sat down the whole time brain storming my own out look for 2007.
  • I am more motivated by longevity.
  • Staying and being productive .
  • Staying focus.

I guess it comes with working with a company you really have no ties to nor do I really care for. So yes I would say its boring it does nothing for me but offer a pay check . I want more out of life, not just a job to get me by; I'm trying to get over a hump not lay there. Anyone can say hey its a job , but is it the job that you want to do , is it a job that make you happy .

I have learned not to just settle for anything, I want what I want , and I will work hard to get it by any means.

That boring meeting only motivated me even more knowing I don't want to be sitting at the same desk in 2007 I have to really apply myself .
