What It Means To Me

To me being a small business owner , means that there are no days off, no calling in sick, no passing the the buck or passing blame, you are the the Sole beginning  and Ending  of what your company represents . I can only imagine what it would be like to leave the hustle and bustle of a 9-5 comfort zone it can make you lazy at times cause knowing that you have the check coming in bi-weekly or every week  . I often say to my self (Aaron Lace Up Your Boots AND CLIMB THAT MOUNTAIN) and you may have to climb that mountain alone but there maybe those who choose to watch from the side lines who wish to watch you fail or those who pray for your success . Knowing that giving up is not an option for me I rise and I keep moving forward even though I may not know whats a head I have to keep focus on the mission . I learned to set short term goals for my self just to keep me on point and focused . The only thing I fear is giving up on my self and that cant happen I wont allow it !

Just the another night I was watching Shaft looking all cool with his perfectly cropped Afro, fitted leather trench coat had bit of a attitude and no matter how much Sh*^ came his way he handled it and never once did he give up on doing what needs to get done and he knew he had to do the rite thing not to say that I am shaft  lol but I know what needs to get done. I think back to when I first started SOUL INK 6 years ago I knew it would be a up hill battle but for what ever reason I stayed the course and I can honestly say I am glad that I did .
